Does anyone have an idea who may offer a 6 month unsecured loan?
I need £2000 quick but can afford approx £400 per month to repay it. Yes I could save but need £2000 in next 4 weeks.
Alternatively if the minimum loan term is 12 months, is anyone aware/ had experience of a product that has no early repayment penalty?

If you have a good credit rating have you considered using a credit card, as you can repay that as quick as you are able.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0

If it is a case of you need £2000 in cash in your hand to give someone, then it will not be a good idea to get a credit card and draw the money out, cause of the interest charges.
If it's for a purchase that you can use a credit card to pay for, then Tixy is right, if you have a good credit rating and it is for a purchase, then get a 0% on purchases Credit Card for 6, 8, 10 or 12 months and then you can spread the payments out even longer and pay no interest.
Just make sure that after the initial purchase you don't spend even more on the card, unless you are absolutely sure that you can afford to pay it off, before the 0% period runs out.
In my case I got a Tesco cc for 12 month 0% purchases, spent £1200 roughly on various things in the first 5 months, now paying off £200 a month each month, to make sure it is paid off in plenty of time before the 0% deal runs out. With Tesco you get clubcard points as well as an added bonus.0 -
If you go down the CC route and do need the cash (rather than being able to make a CC purchase) you could consider if you could get a super balance transfer card - which would allow you to transfer the money to your own bank account. The transfer fee is about 4% though.
But still not a bad price for a 6month loan.
