Well 1 month on and £2002 plus repaid. I think this hour thing has really put my huge debt into prospective. I spend a massive £66.72 each day servicing my debt, I could get a week shop for that. My debt seems to be coming down so slowly as if the £66.72 doesn't make a difference. Oh its so depressing, how did I get so badly into debt. Well I know how, but I never realised the harsh reality. I wish I could meet me from 10 years ago, I would kick his axxe.Debt free. March 2020

But then again, now I've looked at your thread after buying chocolate and crisps in the shop yesterday, that could have been another 2 hours of my debt... so every time I have the urge to buy crisps and chocolate (my massive downfall with money along with expanding waistline!) I'm going to try putting the money in a tin instead and see how quickly that adds up to go towards my debt.
In theory anyway
See how long it actually lasts! 0 -

34p an hour for my mortgage. That's about 3 pints of beer a day...
I'm SO looking forward to clearing my mortgage now :beer:A man is rich in proportion to the number of things he can afford to let alone - Thoreau0 -
Our hourly payment for our combined debt (mine and hubby) including our mortgage is £3.71!! It seems a lot compared to some but I thought it would be more to be honest so am not sure how I feel about knowing that...I'll let it digest a bit I think. Thanks for posting this, very interesting!DMP started Oct '17: £79,974 :eek::eek::eek::eek:0

I love this!
My current level of debt costs me £5.50 a day in interest. Can't work out what I pay back as it varies every month.
Will bare the £5.50 in mind everytime I want to waste my money on takeaway or some other crap!LBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)

I guess if you want a more exact figure x the payment by 12, divide by 365 and then divide by 24. Should knock a penny off most peoples

£0.598 for me, I stuck the 8 in 'cause it's nearly 60p
