Dress help (Please!!!!)

Hi ladies,

I really need your help, I really want to try on Alfred Angelo style number 1139 to decide whether its the dress for me, I'm after it all in white or ivory. I don't want to run the risk of ordering it and it not be the right dress, but at the moment it is really standing out, and I can't stop thinking about it until I've tried it on.

Only problem is none of my local stores stock it!! I'm in Bicester Oxfordshire and have called the following stores with no luck:

E-mail Alfred Angelo and ask which of their suppliers have it in.

Or ask your local stockist to order it in for you to try, most will do this but do charge a small fee to cover delvilery costs but if you then order they will refund the charge.

Unfortunately none of them will order it in just for me to try on, and I don't want to buy it without trying it on in case it's not the dress for me!!

I will email head office and see, but they are as useful as a chocolate tea pot.

Hi, I posted an ebay find on the 'Find my dress' thread, according to RAC it would take two hours to go there, if its the right dress may be worth the drive to try on and maybe buy??

If you're willing to do the 45mins over to the Concrete Cows, Bletchley has a store (I was there last week trying bridesmaids dresses one) who stock AA.

Did All Things Bride & Beautiful not check with Wallingford and Buckingham? (I was in Buckingham on Sat!).

Bedford-way seem to have a few stockists, Dunstable and Bedford are 20mins from MK. Ditto Northampton. Worth ringing around perhaps?

hmm that link I posted doesn't actually show the ones in your area, go to central southern england and loads come up, just ring around the ones you haven't tried I guess. Not that many you haven't tried are that close. Try windsor brides though?? They're not too far, I live in Maidenhead and I go to Bicester outlet fairly regularly.

I've just rang Bride & Joy, and no luck.

Unfortunately All things Bride & Beautiful only stock bridesmaid dresses (or so they told me)
