Hi
I normally have my black electric hobs covered, but when I took the covers off recently I noticed they had brown rings on them and had discoloured.
Can anyone recommend a product or method to bring these up to black and looking smart again?
Thanks

Have you tried Hob Brite? I use this on my Halogen Hob and it always comes up like new. You rub it in neat with kitchen roll and then wipe it off with a damp cloth. If it's stained heavily then you have to use a bit of elbow grease!
You can buy Hob Brite in Tesco's.What goes around - comes around

Good old bicarb works really well on my halogen hob0

Are they the solid black plates? if so a tiny drop of oil on kitchen roll will darken them up, do not use too much or you will have a smell of burning oil when you use them again.
