Hi,

My Dad got the other 'Vodafone Simply' - the VS3 - back in about February - we ended up unlocking it and putting a different sim card in - changed to Orange - that wasnt much better - hes never had such a useless phone - just be wary!

1.When the phone is in his pocket it manages to alter the volume of ringing tone - nomrally down to silent - so we cant get hold of him
2. Its really bad at picking up signal
3. Not exactly 'simple'

I'm old but I don't want a phone like that. Although I do like the big time readout that I wouldn't need to keep putting my specs on for.

I would 100% NOT recommend the simply phone - absolutely rubbish

In my defence ....

My mother in law (age 70) had a nokia that she just could not get to grips with - this she can handle. Its not perfect by any means, but the very fact it has limited functionality is what makes it usable for us...
