Hi,
This is my first post, so hopeing some one can help me.
Basically long story short i have had a loan since 2006 and the bank have only just informed me that i have £100 worth of charges dating from 2006/7 which as soon as i found out i phoned the bank to advise that i can pay £10 extra per month which i have done last month and intend on doing at the end of this month but today i received a letter from the bank to advise they are sending a rep to my house. So my question is, can i just tell them that i am paying what i agreed so what do they hope to acheive from sending some one out?
Thank you in advance sorry for the life story
Cheryl

Hi Cheryl and welcome to the forums.
I would write back to tell them you do not want anyone to visit your house (I assume that you don't!). Here is a letter you can uses as a template http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=23624477&postcount=4
You might want to put in the letter that you have agreed a repayment plan and will continue to pay the additional amount of £10 each month - and then put in the legal blurb from the link above.
After they have received that letter they are legally not entitled to visit you.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
