Hi there,
My dad is thinking of buying windows & a front door off a company called Better Homes. They just happened to call at the right time when dad was thinking of changing the windows. Now everything has moved kinda fast so I was wondering if anyone on here has heard of the company and can offer any feedback on them? Now I’ve only got bits & pieces of info off him but from what I can gather they are an English outfit and the windows are made somewhere near Castledawson? Let me know what you think or what he should be looking out for?! Thanks in advance...

The showroom/offices are based at Duncrue. The company your Dad may be thinking of in Castledawson is Superseal windows. I don't know if there is a connection between the 2 companies though? Maybe someone else can help on this one???

You would like to think that they at least gave an address in Northern Ireland! Are you sure they are not a local firm. Anyway he can always cancel the deaL Seven days if they gave him written cancellation rights. Unlimited time otherwise!

Thanks for the quick replies; yip thats the company and their website; not sure why he thought they were an English outfit, maybe the sales chap was English?! Thanks again all, will do a bit of reading up now me thinks...

Better homes fitted our guttering with no complaints. Reasonably priced n turned up when they said they would. They also fitted my MIL also without complaint.

Only thing I would say is that they did kinda rush us into a decision saying that the offer was only available the day we were given the quote n if we said no and then called up again a few days later we wouldnt get that price.
