I have searched empires game section but couldn't find anything
that I would consider particularly cheap compared to some other sites

Was just going to post that link myself. Lots of stuff sold out. Only saw one decent GBA game that seemed cheap.

That may be the case, but we as customers are not paying any more.

Hence they are getting paid for 'referring you'. If you had never seen the website, the chances are, you would never have been aware of the offers.

Empire Direct seem to be reducing, by quite a lot, various computer games for different platforms
