My gf and I are FTBs.
Through a family friend we got wind of a house being put on the market and have been able to view and make an offer privately (without the use of Estage Agents). The property was valued by three separate agents for valuation purposes they day we had our first viewing.
My question is, what would percentage would Estage Agents take on a 250k property? My view is that we should split the difference, thereby saving the vendor the money they would have had to pay an agent had they used one.

I would never pay an agent 2%. 1%, perhaps 1.5% and like it or lump it.0

If you put in an offer then you should have taken account of the reduction due to them saving from estate agents fees before putting in an offer.
Have they accepted your offer?0
