Mflow has now launched to the public and are offering a free fiver to those that top up a fiver for the next 2 or so days. The crux of the programme is it's like a cross between spotify and twitter.. you flow tunes to your followers and they can buy them if they choose, if they do you get 20% of the payment.
I can well recommend this site, the library is growing quickly and I have made about £16 in a month :T from other people buying the tracks I have flowed and have bought some great albums in return like Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Peggy Sue and First Aid Kit (all brand new alternative releases that are ace!) that other Mflowers have made money from!
I have a new music radio show so am always flowing new tracks and pre releases! :j it's also a bit like a family too, as people are now following each other on twitter too and getting people to flow albums/tracks they wish to purchase and also recommending who to follow on mflow!
There are loads of famous people on there too flowing what they like, ie Phil Jupitus, Zane Lowe, Gail Porter, John McClure, The Hoosiers, Chase and Status, and Lou from the Codeine Velvet Club.

Thanks for this. I joined the other day - got a free EP - and was wondering whether it was worth sticking with beyond the freebie. Good to hear you've made some money out of it.Big thanks to Martin Lewis for helping us start to sort out our finances!!!:A
Best Comp win:X-Box 360!!
And thank you to all posters! You're wonderful!0 -
i love it, but i love sharing new music as i get sent a lot because i review singles for a magazine and have a radio show on a local station. I don't work for Mflow by the way, just think its ace!
the best thing is you get to listen to what other people are digging, including famous bands,
The more time you put in the more you get out in my view, so it depends how much time you have. I've managed to buy 7 albums so far, all new releases such as Blood Red Shoes, First Aid Kit, BRMC etc! Can't praise it enough, just need more music on there, but new labels are being added every week..
Glad you're enjoying the free ep!Mortgage free wannabe!:

Looking through some old business papers prior to shredding, I came across a PPI document relating to a Business Loan I had from Barclays in 2001. I used Martin's template letters to send a letter to Barclays requesting a refund which they ignored. I then sent a second by recorded delivery giving them two weeks to reply. I did not think I had much chance of a refund due to the age of the claim but low and behold, by return of post Barclays informed me that it had credited my account with the premium cost and interest at 8% - a total of £2982!0

This is interesting and something I must remember to follow. Although I run a mortgage business, by nights I'm an obsessive music producer and have had some tracks signed to the Alterego label and due for release. Us producers on our forums are always discussing the future and which business models will win out.0
