Section 75 claim

I posted this in the big thread about Advent Training going bust. I fear however, it may have got lost in such a large thread, so forgive my impatience for starting new thread about it. I was wanting advice on if I should accept the offer below or fight for the full amount but they have given me a short deadline to make a decision- I will probably end up going to CAB this week so that they can have a look but any pointers on here would be helpful
I signed up with Advent in 2008 and it was financed with a loan arranged through Hitachi finance. I wrote to Hitachi a couple of weeks back regarding section 75 claim. today I have received my reply and basically they will be refunding money paid to them and cancelling any other outstanding finance. However, they are withholding the first years payments made which is £1583.28 as a "12 month usage fee". I only got as far as attending the first a+ workshop for various reasons so will still have nothing to show for that £1583.28.

Therefore, my question is can they apply this usage fee or should I write back, again asking for the full amount? They have given me a deadline of 30 April to accept the offer so I'm not sure if I should or not.

Thanks
