Mason and Pearson boar bristle brush

Does anyone actually own one of these?

Would you spend this amount of money on a hairbrush? I must confess I'm a little tempted (birthday coming up) I hear they are fantastic for conditioning/smoothing hair.

I have the natural bristle one not the boar one and I can't stand it, it makes my hair a greasy frizzy mess, having said that dd has totally different hair to me and she loves this brush:)

Hmm. I have a vague memory that we share the same hair type glowgirl. Thank goodness your DD liked the brush as they are a bit pricey.

I've had this one for more than 20 years and it's going strong. I do have long thick hair, but it does the job. I find this better than pure bristle.
