Shop and Scan

I joined this after an invite via tns research , a very good company as I have been a member for years and never had any problems.

It is basically a market research company who offer gift vouchers, if you scan your shopping details and upload them to their site.

They sent a clicker and lead, but I had trouble uploading my details, so they asked me to send it back and they would send a new one.

We did all this, and they confirmed they had recieved the defective scanner but we never got a replacement.

They are now calling us with a prerecorded message 3/4 times per day, demanding we return our scanner.
We have also recieved 3 letters and prepaid jiffy bags from them in the last week.

I have spoken to their c.s department who insist we have property that does not belong to us, and that it is in there right to hassle us like this until we return it.

It is so frustrating, yesterday I resorted to unplugging our phone, as our baby was sleeping and I just knew they would call. Indeed they did, with the same prerecorded message on our answerphone.

What can I do to stop this?

    Write a letter and send it recorded. Enclose a copy of their letter stating they received the faulty one back. Ask for proof of the *new* delivery of handset/scanner, which will proove you haven't received it.

    It just sounds like a lot of "lack of communication" between depts which really gets me going!!

    Also tell them to stop calling you daily otherwise you will report them to TPS for being a nuisance.
