Unlimited FREE texts for 30 days, join between 23 February - 30th April 2010
Join T-Mobile pay as you go and get 30 days of unlimited free texts. You'll need to top up your new SIM card with at least £5 and then activate your free texts by 30th April 2010 using the instructions we'll send to your phone. We'll send you a text straight away to let you know that it's worked.
Unlimited texts are from the UK to the customers of the other UK mobile networks and to numbers starting with 01, 02 or 03 (excluding Jersey, Guernsey and Isle of Man). You'll have 30 days to use them, or lose them. We'll let you know when your 30 days has run out.
We'd like to remind you that your terms and conditions say that you mustn't use our services to do anything unlawful or to send nuisance communications. At the moment, we'll decide that you're breaking this condition if you send text messages to more than 200 different phone numbers over the course of the 30 days. Remember, we're free to decide that other types of use may also be breaking this condition. If you do break this condition, we'll disconnect your SIM card from our network without giving you any advance warning.
If you use, whether directly or through a third party, any device to route or re-route voice, text messages or other services on, from or to the network or you sell or attempt to sell or otherwise provide commercial services using our network to any third party, we'll remove this reward from you and/or disconnect your SIM card from our network without giving you any advance warning.
6 months Free Internet on selected phones
Join T-Mobile with one of a range of selected pay as you go phones before 31 August 2010 and get 6 months of free internet on your phone.
You'll need to activate your free internet by following the instructions we'll send to your phone before 31 August 2010. We'll then send you a text to let you know that 6 months has begun. We'll also let you know when your 6 months free internet on your phone runs out.
If you choose a phone that's always connected to the internet, once your free Booster has run out you'll then automatically be charged up to £1 a day to browse the internet unless you buy one of our 30 day or 6 month Boosters. See the legal stuff and fair use policy at https://www.t-mobile.co.uk/fup.
You'll need internet coverage, check it at https://www.t-mobile.co.uk/streetcheck. Remember that you can only use internet on your phone in the UK and you can't use your phone as a modem or use internet on your phone for peer to peer file sharing, or making internet phone calls.

If you use more than your fair use policy amount, we won't charge you any more, but we may restrict how you can use internet on your phone, depending on how often you go over your amount and by how much.

It adds a £10 top up at checkout, it doesn't come with it.0

As a Blackberry user, why would you buy one without a contract? The nature of a Blackberry is that it constantly downloads your email. It is a business tool. If you want a phone that does fancy things, buy an iPhone or an HTC Android based phone.
Either that or buy one on a contract that includes BES (Blackberry Enterprise Server) services - the power of a Blackberry only really comes into its own with this. The smaller the monkey the more it looks like it would kill you at the first given opportunity.

Spoke to them about it and this pay as you go one constantly downloads your email too though. Good if you want pay as you go and don't want a contract. I know loads of people that use their blackberry for their own email and not business.0

I thought BES was more for medium/large companies? BIS- which is what is free for 6 months is fine for personal use.
As long as people are prepared to pay the £5 or whatever after 6 months this is a pretty ok deal.
Personally I found Blackberrys a bit rubbish for Internet surfing, my iPhone is much better but if someone wants a simple push email solution then BB is the way to go.
Definitely agree though that for most, you will get more fun/use out of an iPhone! If my words are missing letters then please excuse me....my keyboard is a tad dodgy!!0 -
OK, this might be useful if anyone's interested in buying a Blackberry
