Is my Wife resposible

If I have an unsecured personal loan in my name only would my wife be resposible for repaying if anything happened to me.

    It will be paid for out of your estate if the worst were to happen.

    Typhoon mentions the important point. Your estate has to settle debts out of your assets before any remainder can be turned over to the beneficiaries.
