yellow/lemon wedding

Hi
Just wondering if anyone else is having this colour theme for their wedding? I will be having an ivory dress and the colours will be mainly yellow with sprinkles of purple

But i'm having major trouble finding yellow wedding flowers, decorations, bridemaid dress on a small budget etc

Can anyone help me?

my h2b's favourite colour is yellow, in fact he's almost obsessed with it!

I was going to have lots of yellow but since he has admitted he has a (not so secret) purple fetish, this has rather taken over instead!

but I will be having some small sunflowers and yellow gerberas hopefully in my bouquet.

bridesmaid dresses are difficult but I was going to get my little niece a plain white/ivory dress with a yellow sash (will now be purple to match my dress)

I saw some lovely sunshine face helium balloons so will probably have some at our reception.

it's a great colour and will give a really nice uplifting happy feel I think

What about sunflowers or daffodils? I know daffs are more of a srping flower, but there might be some around in May.

As for yellow dresses - it was quite a popular colour last summer, so you might find some nice styles on the high street.

With purple I would defo go sunflowers. Very 'happy' flower.

I am having a lemon theme too. I'm having yellow orchids & got my bridesmaid's dress from Coast (though they don't seem to do it in that colour anymore). Keep an eye out and I'm sure you'll find a lot of yellow dresses as the weather gets nicer!

I also got lemon yellow card for invitations as well as yellow ribbon from http://www.pdacardandcraft.co.uk/. Both were very cheap.

I love that dress how ever my best friend is a bit shy of her legs so i think it might be a no from her... she wants something that covers her knees!!
