Hair Extensions

Does anyone know of the best type to buy?
i dont want to spend too much money about £30 preferably.

my hair is quite long, sits between my shoulder blades at the back but its quite layered at the front, starts to layer just inder my chin.
i usually wear my hair straight but want to have big loose curls on my day and i def think my hair will benefit from the extra volume.
i was looking at the jessica simpson ones.

  • Personally, I can ALWAYS tell synthetic hair. Your best bet is to get real human hair extensions, and you won't find these for £30. I have some for my wedding, 100% human hair, perfect colour match and I got them for £80, which is a bargain as I need 2 packs (24 inch length).

beckyv, are the Dream Girl extensions easy to clip in? I have fine hair and am thinking of having extensions - but only clip-in ones, otherwise I'll ruin what little hair I have!!

I paid £80 for the two packs together. The longer the hair extension, the less hair they put in the pack if you know what I mean...a 14 inch set is a lot thicker than a 24 inch set. I needed the extra length of the 24 inch, so had to get two packs to get the thickness that a 14 inch would give me. My hair is also quite thick, but that only made the extensions look more 'fake' with the one pack - nice thick bounciness on top, ropey thin bits at the bottom :D two packs fixed this. I always wear my hair tied up, and people that see me on a daily basis were asking me where I managed to hide all of 'my' hair all this time :rotfl:
  • My friend who is a hair dresser has found this site.. I trust her, so is worth a look..

If you have a Debenhams near you try the Hot Hair franchise. I got mine from here and have had them for over 3 years now.

They are also online if you google them. Not overly cheap, but worth the money as they last and are human hair which can be washed, dried, dyed etc

theres a shop seller on ebay that does the 20 inch ones for £35.

thanks for the replies, my sister is my chief bmaid and she is a hair dresser(doing my hair on the day), butg shes just had a baby and doesnt seem too interested in my wedding at the moment plus she lives in England so i dont see her, all shes said is to buy human hair.

I have bought real clip in hair extensions from Sallys before and cannot recommend them enough. I bought 2 packs at £16 each and that was plenty thick enough for a realistic look.

I've got the dream girls extensions as well! I've absolutely abused them with ghds and hair dye as well and they are still going strong! Would definitely recommend you get real hair ones!
