quorn Tikka fillets

Options
Was shopping in Sainsburys the other day when they were doing a BOGOF on Quorn Tikka style fillets.

Yuch! Stay away. They are not very nice at all. Now I love quorn mince and their chicken style pieces and southern style fillets but I dont know whats gone wrong with the tikka fillets. They look like the fillets you put down your bra :rotfl: and they're orange

I've got 3 now that I don't even think the dog would eat :D

Chop them up and use them in a curry.

I succumbed to the barbeque fillets when they were BOGOF.
Presumably because no one in their right mind would buy more than one packet after tasting the bloody things.
  • I've never noticed Qourn Tikka fillets before. Only Tikka bites. I didn't mind them.

There's always a way to use them, even if I agree they stink...
Chop them into small chunks, coat in natural yoghurt and use to fill a pitta bread with some lettuce, spring onion, tomato and cucumber finely chopped.

I really like these, they are great if you're on the Slimming World diet as the Tikka ones are free and the Thai ones are 0.5 syns each one. I find they are best done in the microwave as they tend to dry out in the oven, especially if cooking from frozen.
