Worth noting that this DVD is NOT in 3D. There will be a 3D version released later in the year however.

I've always wanted to watch this, but will wait for the 3D version. Thanks.

If the 3D version is anything like the Final destination 3D version on DVD I wouldnt bother, it will never be as good as the 3D version in the cinema

yeah i refuse to spend 55 quid just to get a dvd cheap ill buy it for 8.00 i think

However I bought mine in Morrisons for JUST £5 :) .... and £5 ONLY :j

Nipped in, since I was passing by, to check prices on a couple of items I need for the weekend.

Saw a middle-aged woman with a trolley quite full of shopping queuing at the checkouts.

I just politely asked her if she was taking advantage of the discount coupon and buying the Avatar DVD for £5, since she was obviously going to be spending over £50.
She said that she wasn't, I showed her a coupon I'd got with me and clarified the deal available.
She agreed it was too good to miss, told me to grab the DVD and we could go through together, which we did.
I gave her £5, she gave me the DVD and I helped put 2 boxes into the back of her car.
Both of us very happy :)

Yeah, I thought it was odd that asda would take out a full page ad to say there's no gimmicks and vouchers then do that
July- coconut body shop body butter, pom bear football, mini johnsons lotion, Sally Hansen nail treatments

Incidentally, something I forgot to post earlier :)

Morrison's also have the "TWIN PACK" referred to earlier.

    That's 2 copies of Avatar - 1 on BLU-RAY and 1 on DVD

It's just £15 which seems VERY CHEAP given that the DVD alone should be £12.
this could be good news if you want the Blu-Ray and your mate wants the standard DVD format.

However that's not the point, what I was going to say is, it wouldn't surprise me if a good proportion of the till operators would process the £7 off coupon (when you spend another £50 etc.) even if you bought this Blu-Ray & DVD Combi pack.

Which then would work out at just £8 for the pair :j
