I've gone for the bain marie type option - fingers crossed that the experiment works!0 -

Hi I have made meatloaf in the slow cooker before and am going to make
another one tonight. when the sausagemeat has defrosted.
I made the meatloaf in a Loaf tin and placed that in the Slowcooker with a small amount of water about 1/4 of the way up the tin. and it was really nice. I personally always put abit of water in the slowcooker just incase the heat cracks it. I have also made a steak and kidney pudding in the SC and that was the best St & K pudding we have ever had. The Suet was really light and fluffy. Thought that i would just mention that.20p savers club

That's what I did - so it should be ok then.
I often make Steak and Kidney - but always pie not pudding - I'd really appreciate your tips.
BTW how long do you cook the meatloaf for?
