We have a battery 12volt shower thing that I bought for camping. Its very handy hung up from the shower bracket with its pump sitting in a bucket. The water washes back down and into the bucket with a bit of careful shower curtain arranging so while it still takes a bucket of hot water for hair washing, its lovely and hot and I get a shower out of the same water and can make it last as long as I like . Then its recycled again to flush the loo .0

I always stock up on "goodie bag" items for my daughter and daughter in law throughout the year, I buy little pretty gift carriers in sales, then as I walk through £land every week buy a couple of tubes of toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner etc, whatever reputable good quality brands they get in, then Birthdays, Christmas even Easter, they get a bag and are usually delighted with the contents.Do I need it or just want it.0

Always check the washing labels before buying any clothes.
I forgot to do this and all of a sudden my cheap skirt no longer feels very cheap. I have got to get it dry cleaned. Argghh!2025 Fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons

Since I love gardening, I used those empty tin cans and bottled water as a seedbed for my vegetable seedlings. I also make some flower vases out from empty wines decorated with some colored paper and recycled Christmas d!cor.0

Yesterday, I sewed my husband's button back on his trousers and 2 poppers (from my MIL sewing box that I inherited) onto my dress so it does not gape in the wrong places!!!2025 Fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons

Now this really is penny pinching but it works, are you ready...?
I had a small bottle of bubble mixture that had finished. I tried to replace by making my own concoction from washing up liquid and water, but it didn't work well so I realised that I would need something with more of a foaming agent. You know the really annoying dregs of handwash that can't be decanted? Well luckily the rim of my nearly finished handwash matched the size of the bubble bottle exactly, so I balanced it on top to drain into it and left it for a couple of hours. When I returned to it, the liquid soap dispenser was dry. I topped up the bottle with warm water, tested it and was pleased with the results: hardy bubbles that took some effort to burst. Roll on summer in the garden with my niece!
I should add that I normally use the last drops of liquid soap to clean the sink with, so it's never actually wastedValue-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Oh the "upside down" bottle balancing trick is a regular one in our household too with hand wash and hair shampoo also regularly being mixed. It's quite satisfying to see those last remaining little drops being squeezed out!0

I may have mentioned this before but if you grow your own vegetables and buy bottled mineral water, buy the square 5 litre plastic bottles. When empty, just cut of the bottom of the bottles with a sharp knife.
They make excellent individual cloches for small tomatoes, courgettes, etc. and you can place a cane through the ventilation hole at the top to keep it in place on windy days. Most of them also come with a plastic carrying ring around the neck which enables you to store them all on a long bamboo cane when not in use. Similar shaped plastic cloches in garden centres cost a small fortune.0
