Where to start with holistic therapy

I'm intersted in training in holistic therapies, hopefully to lead to a change of career in the future but I'm unsure where to start. Has anyone any experience of this? Someone has suggested I will need to begin with anatomy & physiology but at what level? Are there any other good starting points or relevant courses to…

In my view there's an over-supply of people in a lot of the holistic therapies, and not enough demand for a lot of them to make a decent living from it. Two of my friends have both gone down the route of training to do something holistic. Neither of them makes a living from it, they both have a few customers, mainly friends, and work full time doing something else.
