Hello,
I stupidly took a loan out with Welcome Finance a few years ago when I got in a little trouble, Ive recently been successful in claiming back a Miss-sold PPI, Ive had a cheque from them and my payments went down also, I had to pay the 1st new payment over the phone as they had not set the Direct Debit up in time but upon checking my bank account this month the DD is still not set up (payment due 25/4) Ive had an Email from the credit file company I use saying there has been a deletion of an account so I checked it and its showing the Welcome Finance balance as zero and settled even though I still owe them money. Am a little confused as to why this has happened and could anyone advise me on what to do please?

Hi,
Credit records are normally updated monthly, so it is possible that the file was updated mid point between the old agreement with the ppp been cancelled, and the new agreement without the ppp been set up.0 -
Oh dear, I feel so stupid now! Of course thats what it would be. I panicked a little an expected them to be sending me nasty letters etc
