Morning all
Hopalong here!
Penelopedee - feeling ok ta. Foot very sore but not doing much todayy. OH and stepdaughter have nice long lists of what needs getting at shop, library etc!:D
Its just dawning on me however, how much I've ballsed up. First week of July I was meant o be going to Hampton Court Flower show with Mum and Dad. Don't think I will be now:( Mum said she could push me in a wheelchair but, to be honest, the tickets were her birthday present and I don't want to ruin her day. Think I will let her and Dad go on thier own.
On the plus side....I'm going to get a lot of reading done!!:D
Maman - Chances are work won't pay me...its at the managers discretion and I can't see him paying me if I'm off for a few weeks. Just have to pray he's feeling generous....I'm the longest serving member of staff (11 years) so hopefully that will mean something. Not much I can do about it though so will try not to worry about it!
Lulugirl...welcome to the thread....we are a very welcoming bunch so hope you decide to stay with us!:)

Been waiting patiently for cake all morning and woman has just text to say that instead of having it sent by courier she's told her husband he has to drive it in case it doesn't get here in time! (Poor bloke), they live 30 miles away! She is about to post a photo of it up on FacebookDFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0
