I just spotted this in the local Sainsburys. About half a dozen pallets of the things stacked up by the door - they are obviously expecting them to be a big seller. Couldn't believe the "each" price through. Way higher than normal. Most of the time you can find them for 99p at one or other of the cheaper stores. I think that this sort of tactic, ramping up the price so they can offer "free" packs really ought to fall foul of some law somewhere..

But, at the end of the day, 66p or so is still fairly cheap.

They haven't inflated the price! Pringles have been £2.03 since the VAT change in January.

In my store they are £2.19 not £2.03! I decided not to buy them at that price.

No they haven't, they are around £1.40.
Asda has them at £1.15 at the moment.

Sure this is a good deal - but to suggest they are over £2 is just a joke.

I think I should know, I work at Sainsbury's. They were £1.99 until Jan 1st, then the went upto £2.03 due to the VAT increase.

They are usually £2.03 at Tesco as well, but currently on offer at 95p. ends 11th May
They are £2.03 at Waitrose
& yes, they are £1.16 at ASDA, but they must be making a loss.
I think they are also £2.03 at Morrisons
