Mortgage Advisor put the wrong dob in ?

my application !
I have applied for a mortgage via homebuy thru the Halifax , now I know very little about the process and stages of this as such but it would appear after the advisor left our house he has applied for a mortgage ? And he has incorrectly put my dob in the application form , I can tell this as the life cover from legal and general came thru and on my credit file it lists as an application has been made but my dob is incorrect .
I was told today that the Halifax are satisfied with my salary (whats the next stage now) but surely they would of looked at my date of birth . anyway I have informed my Advisor and he said there is no worries but is there ? Is this sort of mistake this easily rectified ? I would imagine that this is not the formal application as we have yet to have a valuation of the property ?
Please put my mind at rest :rotfl:

It takes a few seconds to change.
It may impact the credit scoring, although this is unlikely.0 -
Thank you , when you dont know you worry .0

I presume the application proper shall be made when the valuations have taken place ? Will this then be an issue ?
Thank you .0 -
How far out is it? If the incorrect dob shows that you are 30 when you're actually 65, you may well have problems. If it's a few months, the only reason it might be an issue is if the lender wants the term to end at (say) 65, and your correct dob makes you fall the wrong side of the line.0

Wrong by exactly four years as my Fiance was born in 79 he put that in mine as well (I was born in 75) ! I suppose a compliment in a backhanded way ! I was just concerned they would have to start this again and I would lose credit points as it looks like I have applied twice with different dob's , could I contact anyone ? Or is this application solely a tester as such ? It appears on my legal and general issurance forms and I have sent them back and also on my credit expert report , is this significant ?
Many Thanks0
