What are they building in Carrick?

I just notices today they are starting work in the waste ground beside the Clarien Hotel In Carrickfergus, anyone know what they are building? I know the hotel had plans up a few years ago about developing it all but dont know if thats whats happening.

Lidl got an application approved for that site a while ago but not heard anything else about when it was going to started.

Whatever they're buidling looks to me to be a bit too big to be just a Lidl.

I'm dying to know but cant seem to find the details online.

Apparently a few things are getting built, only one i'm certain off is Lidl - one of their shops and a main warehouse.

Development also includes 176 houses, storage warehouse, car showrooms, office & retail.

I doubt any work will start on housing.

wow thats a lot of building going on, and on top of that the new Go petrol station has recently opened. plenty happening down here then.
