Oh no I've managed to confuse EVERYBODY, even myself with this ongoing dress saga! I'll try and clear it up!

The dress I am keeping is the one from the Ian Stuart dress thread.

This is the 'hideous' dress (not advertising as the auction has now ended):
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150442103862&ssPageName=STRK:MEUSX:IT

And the other dress was a custom Landy copy which wasn't great when it arrived so I sold it on ebay as a prom dress to a thrilled buyer:

And the shoes from this thread went back to ASOS for a refund. So I had 3 dresses and a pair of shoes, I now have 2 dresses and no shoes. I'm still trying to shift the feather dress but am selling the skirt and corset seperately and have a bit of interest, so fingers crossed this time it will sell! All I want is my £80 back lol.

One of my friends, who I've not asked to be a bridesmaid, loves shoes, is obsessed by them, so I have set her the task of finding me some wedding shoes.

To cut a long story short, I went a bit crazy with the dresses but it's all sorted now, I'm wearing my Ian Stuart ALL day. Yay!

Hahahaha, okay we are all clear now I think.

Your Ian Stuart dress is STUNNING, you definately made the right decision there :-)

Personally I love the asos shoes (im a show fanatic) however dont think they would be right with the dress. IMO

Has your friend come up with anything yet? x

LOL, I was just going to say the same thing, I didn't notice that it was started in April! Glad you're all sorted dress-wise now, the Ian Stewart dress is beautiful! Would the Anglomania shoes in a different colour (love the gold ones and the fuscia ones!) not go?
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

hummm yes, the dress you have is the one to keep, im all into being a little diffrent but the 'not nice one' does rather remind me of the Funny Girls show tehe

    glad your sorted now too.

so shoes......any partiular style you are looking for.

i personally really really really wanted some Irregular Choice ones and indeed ordered and ended up taking back a few pairs as my arthritis just wont let me walk in them all day :(. im alright on a night out with the girls in IC's but i needed to put my sensible head on so im wearing Iron Fist instead now and changing for our first dance to my very old shabby lookin BLACK TUK's as they are comfy, just for the dance.

sooooooo any joy with shoes? style? make?
    :p

She's not come up with anything yet as I only asked her last night, but she's definately going to rise to the challenge :D

I like IC's too. I also like some of the Diane Hassall ones. I think I'm after flats or kitten heels due to the fact I'd probably fall over in anything higher due to dodgy ankles!

Gleeful, the pictures of the 'hideous' dress on the listing, make the dress look a million times better than the orginal pictures and I can see its quite funky and different now! Feel a bit embarassed I went 'yuck' now :o
:rotfl:Ahahah got my signature removed for claiming MSE thought it was too boring :rotfl:
