Facebook won't let me save privacy setting changes. HELP

I have just changed all my facebook privacy settings regarding my photo albums, and unticked all the boxes in "What friends can share about you" in "applications and websites"....
...but....
when I logged in again none of the settings had been changed. I tried again. I tried on 3 different computers, but it just won't save my changes. I don't seem to be able to find any way of contacting fb.

Help please!

Thanks, T

Sorry, no help, but I'm having exactly the same problem with the account I've just helped my 13 year old set up. The only thing I can find when googling is that facebook's privacy is set to become simpler tomorrow ( 26th May) so I'm hoping it will all get sorted then.

I've heard that too so may have to wait a day - which is silly :o

Yep, they're gearing up for a big change in their privacy settings today (26th) so things are a bit broken at the moment

No changes on mine yet, although if you click on help you can see how they're going to look.

There's some daft bit of information you need to fill in on your profile else it doesn't let you change anything, I had this issue a month ago.
It showed me my profile as if I were viewing it from another account instead of my own (couldn't edit anything), there was something stupid it was asking me to fill in or click on (cant remember what) and I was like "f*ck off, I just want to change my settings!!!!!!!!!!!!! GRRRR!!!!!" for about 3 days until I eventually did this trivial thing and suddenly it all worked again.

  • I think the changes are taking place today. They are putting all the privacy settings on one page so that there's less click-click-clicking.

It will probably take a while, they've got 400 million (yes, that's right) profile pages so I'm sure there will be LOTS of issues.
