Suggestions for a half decent jacket and walking boots?

    Thanks for the helpful advice on boots. Now I know the nubuck/mesh ones will be ok I'll probably go with them.

    I have a leather pair (not unlike your new ones) for winter walking in the Peak District, often over soggy and boggy moorland, and a lighter pair for summer.
