in Loans
i have the misfortune of having a welcome finance secured loan and i wanted to see if anyone has any views on a few things that happened when i took the loan out.
i was told they didnt need to get consent from my first charge mortgage and only needed to confirm i was not in arrears with my payments so they got me on the phone called my first charge on a conference call and told me to confirm i wasnt in arrears but dont tell them they were there also i have checked and their legal charge is not on land registry is this due to the fact they havent got consent
thanks in advance

if its not on land registry your property doesnt have a 2 nd charge against it,, how old is the loan? first thing to do is send off for cca letters can be found on the forum and its costs £1 postal order dont sign anything you send, and also fire of a sar letter this will cost you £10 and get you all the info welcome have on you there is loads of help on here and other forums re welcome finance, this will need to go to compliance in notts as they are closing branches xhth0

no need to appologise, yes they should of got consent and not just eavesdropped a telephone convo, but this is typical of welcome underhand tricks which has backfired on them, im not sure where your'e goin with this query ie getting out of the trap of welcome but would seem pretty sollid to me but you need to check the paper work thorouglhly.0
