Fish recommendations

Hello,
I haven't eaten fish for years because I have this hang up about fish bones. Finding a bone in my food just puts me off the meal altogether. I really want to introduce fish back into my diet, so can anybody recommend a suitable fish for me to start back up on?
Many thanks x

My husband doesn't like fish for the very same reason. However he loves smoked haddock fillets (yellow fish. Used to be called finny haddy I think) No heads, tails, skin or bones! Very tasty - just poach it for around ten minutes in milk. Serve with melted butter on top and a poached egg - optional.0

River cobbler is very tasty and cheap in tesco(about £2 for a decent sized piece)smoked/unsmoked.0

Will try that myself when I do my next shop at Tesco.0

Tilapia fillets...no bones...just pan fry on either side in a bit of butter and season with salt, pepper and lemon juice.
Tescos and Sainsburys stock tilapia.
Felines are my favourite

Thank you. Is mackerel a tasty fish? The only fish I've ever tried is cod, haddock & plaice (battered from a fish & chip shop) & tinned tuna lol. A nice mackerel salad sounds appealing, especially in this beautiful weather, I'm just not sure if I'd like it or not. Or trout?0

Trout is lovely, so is a fillet of salmon.
I like the ready cooked peppered mackeral in a salad.

There was a programme on TV this morning, food fighters I think. Part of it was about a chip shop being done for selling river cobbler as cod. As part of the prog they had a taste test with the general public. In a blind tasting almost all of them liked the river cobbler better than the cod.0 -
you cant go wrong with a bit of haddock

Get the Basics type fish from supermarkets. It's Pollock, it's dirt cheap and it's bone-free.
Otherwise if you like oily fish then get Trout fillets from any of the major supermarkets. I've very rarely found any bones in the ones I've bought and they are easy to cook: just wrap in a bit of lightly oiled foil and bake in the oven for 20 minutes at 180C/ Gas mark4.0
