Hi
We are interested in taking out the above mortgage.
Thing is I had a loan with HSBC in 1999/2000 that ended in a dispute but no legal action was taken.
Now that 10yrs have passed will I be able to get a deal with HSBC?

I'm no expert but I would say it has as it only stays on your credit file for 6/7 years so you should be fine.0

Just a quick question.
My partner is pregnant but is planning on returning to work once the baby is born.
If we go into one of the high street banks to arrange a mortgage will they offer us less if they see her bump?
A broker said he could get us a deal and we wouldnt have to ever see the lender?0 -
Noticed this deal earlier and wonder how it does/will compare with Chorleys 5.25% 2yr fix for 90%LTV for friends of ours?0

Is affordability an issue then?0 -

This is actually stored on the internal HSBC system! What will happen is that your mortgage application will actually have to approved by a credit officer. Be upfront to the adviser so that they can defend your case!Motto: 'If you don't ask, you don't get!!'
Remember to say thank you to people who help you out!
