Thanks to everyone. I've just booked a mid week break to Whinfell 14th May and used TDOWN code. Saved 40% a massive £156. Cheers.

I've been to Whinfell a couple of times and Sherwood once. The villas at Whinfell are nicer in my opinion, when we were walking to the one in Sherwood they looked like something out of a concentration camp - although nice inside. The facilities are much the same although Whinfells are lumped together inside (pool, restaurant, shops etc) and the ones at Sherwood outdoors but close together. In the future i'll stick to Whinfell although there was nothing really wrong with Sherwood.

I am the opposite I'm afraid. We went to Whinfell just before Xmas for the lapland experience. This part of the break was good and yes the lodges look better from the outside, inside is a different matter.

I thought the standard of hygiene and cleanliness at Sherwood is much higher than Whinfell. We had a lot of items missing from our itenary and the floor was soaking and very direty. After complaining a couple of times, during our stay, the carpets were cleaned and a bottle of wine offered as compensation.

Also i think there were more centreparcs vehicles on sie during the week which I didnt like, not as safe for the kids.

I have been to Sherwood 3 times and have never had any cause to complain. I prefer Sherwood every time.

  • what your average price for midweek break in centreparks for 2 adults & 2 children? looking at going in April/may
    HOW MUCH ?
  • Hi,

Does anyone know of any codes which will work for a week long break at Center Parcs Longleat in July 07.

VL11 and BP2 codes work great for midweek / weekend only but a code for a full weeks break would be much appreciated (if any exist)

I know before if you wanted to use a code for a full week break you had to phone the booking line - is this still the same?

    Many thanks in advance,

Just had a flyer from Center Parcs in the post.

Quote PSB7 to get up to 30%off for families with children under 5.

Book before 31st March 2007 to get the promotion.
  • We have had a recent holiday at Center Parcs in Elvedon and were lucky enough to have a free upgrade to the Exclusive accommodation.

Now we want to go back and having had the luxury want it again. As its going to cost a lot for this standard its going to have to be about April 08.

Does anyone have any booking codes yet which might be applicable for a 2008 booking, (maybe somone who went over the half term and were offered a rebooking discount code). Or am I hoping for to much.

Want to get it booked so I can feel secure we have the accommodation we want and then have time to save full amount, plus money for the not to cheap activities on parc.
