Wow that is cheap. An inexpensive way to see when you are stressed and then do some biofeedback to chill out - been studying a bit too much psychology recently lol
The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing:)
  • got one, very good for the money.

only thing I would note is that the band doesn't work straight away you have to let it warm to body temp; also its very complicated to work!

  • Is it a chest transmitter strap? If so, then some water on the back of the strap and on your chest will help it pick up. Alternatively, you can get a special gel for HRM straps that works even better than water.

I use one of these virtually every day in the gym (well a polar one, not aldi). I don't want to upset you guys too much, but a big gob of spit is perfect. :-)

I've tried the cheaper ones as well. IMHO the polar ones are a lot better, but of course much, much more expensive.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

If you are serious about heart rate monitors and want it for the gym then I advise you to get a Polar model with T31 coding.

The cheap ones suffer from interference and will give erratic and false readings.

The coded belt models lock on to your own monitor and give a steady true reading. They are more expensive, but well worth the investment.

I see people in the gym every day that looked puzzled why their cheap monitors do not work properly, and they are very dissapointed.

    Hi
I have just bought one of these today and first impressions are that it does not have a great range. It seems to lose contact with the chest strap after a couple of feet. You might be thinking that your wrist is going to be a couple of feet beside your chest at all times but these monitors are really valuable when talking to the machines at the gym. If for instance you are on the treadmill then you could easily lose contact with the receiver on the machine which will mess up your workout results. I have had several of these monitors over the years and do agree that polar ones are the best, sure they are expensive but they are compatible with 99% of the machines at the gym so if you use the gym then buy a polar,if not then this watch is a good buy for the price.

That is a brilliant price for the M32. Only a few left, so be quick

I would recommend anyone to go for this model which has a coded transmitter which will work with gym equipment.
