Art Deco Centerpieces

Looking for centerpieces for our art deco inspired wedding. Just wondering if anyone could help with ideas, we're pretty stuck

How crafty are you? You could use some glass paint and paint an art deco design on a vase and then put a candle in it? Would look pretty with the light coming through.

However never done glass painting myself so not sure how much it costs or how difficult it is. I just typed 'paint on glass' into the ehow.com website and it came up with loads of hints and tips.

You could have something involving feathers instead of flowers?

Those ones are from ikea and are in the sale at the minute cos i spotted them on saturday!

If you have an art deco table number holder nestled in with them they'll look brilliant!

if you do a search online for art deco stencils you could print out ones that you like, get some vases or candle holders from ikea and get glass paint from a craft shop and they should be easy enough to stick to the glass and then paint.

might be a nice touch to get art deco number stencils and maybe put then stencil the table numbers on a old glass bottles

Use polished chrome candle sticks and tapered candles as these were all the rage in the deco period.
