Skoot money rip off

Options
A financial broker company by the name of Shoot Money, recently offered me assistance which seeking a loan and was changed a £49.99 fee which i paid for and immediately cancelled as accidently made a mistake of the company i was speaking to. I was told that is was fine to cancel, however due to the easter holidays i will have to wait for my refund. It has now been 3 weeks, I have not received a refund, i then contacted the loan and a answer phone states the company no longer exsists and customers will be contacted in the future. What do i do, wait or have i lost my money?

Probably lost your money. These scam companies are very common.

    Ripped off???

    But they sound so professional!!

How do people end up going to a company NOBODY has ever heard of and giving out their bank details ??
Beware of imitations e.g. Robert Sterling
