Thinking about a budget plan for Setember, as we are are holidays until the 10th of sept and just trying to use all bits and pieces up this month. What cheap puddings can I do for tea time. Any cakes for lunch boxes.
What also can I do for meals that may be abit cheaper (maybe without meat for a couple of times a week). Just need some ideas. Thank you

Make use of free ingredients such as blackberries to make pies and jams etc.
I have been collecting them with my twins the last few days (good free activity to keep them occupied!)
This is their favourite recipe:
Blackberry Cobbler:
½ cup Butter or margarine
¾ cup Sugar
¾ cup Milk
2 teasp. Baking powder
1 cup Flour
3 cups Blackberries with juice
Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Melt butter in a 9 x 13 cake pan. Mix next 4 ingredients into a smooth batter. Pour melted butter into flour mixture without scraping pan. Stir until blended. Pour blackberries with juice over batter. Bake 45mins. Serve hot, warm, or cold.
Gordon Ramsey cooked snails from his garden on F-Word last night, but for me that's taking moneysaving a step too far!!Twins, twice the laughs, twice the fun, twice the mess!:j:j0 -
Have a look at the mega index and go to cooking and recipes. You should find lots of ideas there.May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0
