MyCityDeals have an amazing offer today - it's a huge saving of 81% off on a Streetcar membership.
It also includes a free hours driving which is usually £5.95 in itself. This is especially great for those living in London, Bristol, Cambridge and Brighton where there are loads Streetcars parked around the place.

Gutted by this, bought streetcar 2 days ago at the full price, it's a fantastic deal and I was really impressed by the service. There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so.0

Thought this was a great idea. Went to the website and typed in my postcode for the nearest parking place. I live in glasgow. The nearest was in Oxford 305 miles away.

Was just about to buy Streetcar membership this week when I typed in "Streetcar discount" into Google today and came across this thread!! Am now signed up and have my fingers crossed that they reach their required number. I really hope it works...
Did a bit of research into MycityDeals as I had never heard of the webiste and all appears to be fine - it is backed by some serial internet entrepreneurs.
Thanks Op!0 -
This was in the MSE e-mail last night and I bought straight away, but I can't see any mention on MSE or the forum of MyCityDeal's weird system as described here (which I've only just noticed):
(Oh, I'm not allowed to post a link apparently. If you go to MyCityDeals and replace everything after "uk/" with "how-does-mycitydeal-work" (no quotes), or click "How it works" at the very top of the site, you will get there.)
Sounds like it leaves them open to cancelling the deal on a whim, especially as that 'progress bar' above the number of people who've currently bought the deal has been in exactly the same 'nearly there' position since I first looked just after midnight when the number was at 18 (it's now at 1118)!
So there may be more to this than meets the eye. Fingers crossed it's for real!0 -
Says the deal is on now0

But then in my Account under "My orders" it says:Deal accepted, waiting for the necessary number of customers.
So it's rather confusing.0 -
Anybody else received a voucher code from MyCityDeal that is not recognised on the Street Car website? Rubbish!!!April Grocery Challenge £81/£1200
