up-front fee

can anybody help me?
i was trying to get a loan, i completed aplication form online and they took a up-front fee. They promissed also i will get the loan, they said i was approved but now they saying i should wait until they will find a lender for me.
I want cancel now all those stuf.
How can i get this fee back?

Please help!!!!!

Not easily - depends on the company and whether it is an out and out scam and you will never see it again or just a dodgy but real company who will try to put you off claiming it back.
If its they latter then do persist with it, send them a letter asking for the money to be refunded to you. You are entitled to all your money back (except for a £5 admin fee they can charge). However despite you being entitled to it, that doesn't mean it will be easy to get. Might need several letters before you see it again.

its not about falling for it, its about desperate situations and people (including myself) thinking its all above board.
