Advice Please - Trust Deed

  • Hi everyone, rang National Debt Helpline as suggested and they were really helpful. I discussed my situation with an adviser and he thought a Debt Arrangement Plan might be my ideal solution. This is somewhere between a Trust Deed and a DMP. It's not as severe as a Trust Deed but not as flexible as a DMP and he feels it would be right for me - he's going to send me some literature and pointed me in the right direction to speak to a Money Adviser so I'm feeling a lot better and more positive than I was last night. I could be debt free with this plan in less than three years which would be brilliant as I feel I'm wading through treacle at the moment with no end in sight.

Thanks for everyone's support and good advice, you're all brill :T I don't think I would have called the National Debt Helpline if it hadn't been for you all pointing me in the right direction - will let you know how it all goes. I even got a go at being a Timelord :rotfl:WOOHOO!!!!

If you need to make a budget for the DAS (DAP?), we can assist with that too. Don't forget though that prices can increase and you will need to have some emergency money incase teh washing machine breaks down or something.

Glad you're feeling more positive about this now though.
