Hi there,
I have a bankrupcy hearing on the 11th may and am worried about my bank accounts. I have opened a new one too soon. It is a money management account who said they are happy to keep me regardless of the BR order
though since it's pre the hearing, the accountvwill become property of OR what will he do with it? And how long will it be before I meet with him after the hearing? Any thoughts are gratefully recieved
Thank you

If it's just a basic bank acount you should be able to keep it, if you are using it for your income/bills, but it's at the discretion of the OR. All other accounts would be frozen though.
You may not meet the OR at all, you may see a court official and then have a phone call from the OR. Varies from court to court!Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

The onlt bankrupt friendly accounts are the Co-op Cashminder and Barclays Cash account. Any other banks tend to freeze the accounts as soon as they hear of the bankruptcy.
I would strongly suggest that the OP opens one of these accounts and gets all his/her DD's and SO's sorted.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0
