TNS NetPulse Club invite

I received an e-mail from My Survey (TNS) today asking if I wanted to join MySurvey NetPulse Club. For installing a small piece of software I will receive 900 points throughout the year.

I already have Web View (through TNS) though.

Has anyone else received this e-mail and do you also have Web View?

Many thanks. :)

I downloaded the software about a fortnight ago, after getting the email, I haven't got Web view but did previously have Gacela which is lightspeed's version of this software.

The problem I've got with netpulse is once you've downloaded the software it opens a new browser window asking you to log in, my usual mysurvey id and password don't work and I've tried contacting My survey without satisfaction, they did send the netpulse link so i could read the FAQ's and add a comment/question, which I did - only for it to disappear from the page.
I have not been awarded my points either for installing the software. :(

you've not had the points for it either then - thought it was just me

does anyone know how to delete the software as ive been unable to find out the name of the file etc and its still popping up everytime i turn my pc on - thanks
• If anyone finds out how to delete these annoying messages from their pc please post it here. I have tried contacting mysurvey, several times, but not even an acknowledgement from them, let alone instructions on how to get rid of the messages. Likewise I have never received any points from my:mad:survey. I would readily do without them anyway just to get rid of NetPulse.

I had a similar piece of spyware on my laptop from another survey and it was a nightmare. I had it for six weeks and it slowed my computer down to an absolute crawl and kept crashing it. I didn't get the reward I was meant to either. I'd advise people to AVOID software like that like the plague.

I'm not sure how to get rid of it. Maybe using some sort of anti-spyware programme? Good luck. I know what a nightmare it can be.

I know how to get rid of it but it won't let me post the link on here because I'm a new user!!!If you email me at val@casaloca.fsworld.co.uk I can let you have the link to the Netpulse website where it tells you how to uninstall it

Just thought I would add a print out from the website so you don't need to wait for my reply:

Microsoft Internet Explorer:
1. From the Windows control panel, select “Add / Remove Programs”
2. Select the “Consumer Input Software” entry.
3. Select the “Remove” button.
4. Select the “Uninstall” button from the dialog that appears.
5. Follow the instructions presented in the Consumer Input Software Uninstallation Program
Mozilla Firefox:
1. From the Firefox “Tools” menu, select “Add-ons”.
2. From the Add-ons menu, select the “Consumer Input Software” entry.
3. Select the “Uninstall” button.
4. Select the “Uninstall” button again to verify.
5. The Consumer Input Software will be completely removed the next time Firefox is restarted.
