First Time Buyer Advice

Hello All,

Myself and partner are looking to get our first house this year.

We currently have a deposit of £30000 and the house value is £170000.

I cannot be on the mortgage as I am self employed and only have 1 years books.

My father will be on the mortgage along with my girlfriend. My father won't be living in the property which has sadly rooled us out with Britannia Building Society at 4.5% 2 year fixed...

As my wage isn't regular, we would like the mortgage to be interest only so that I can pay lump sumps off at different points in the year.

Can anyone offer advice?
