I was thinking of trying bicarb as a face scrub?

I have tried this after reading this thread and to begin with i was a little confused but its worked so well, it worked loads better than i imagined. left my face feeling really clean
Its definitely a cheap alternative and something i would never have though of myself.

Noticed this thread yesterday and thought I would give the ole bicarb a whirl this morning.
WOW - it's the best exfoliator I've ever used. Face feels really clean and very smooth and soft. My Bare Escentuals even looked better this morning too.
No more expensive scrubs for me - thanks for sharing the tip, would never have thought of using it :j0 -
How interesting. There is no way you could use something like bicarb in a commercial product. It is way too irritating. But if your skin is a bit on the greasy side this might be just the trick because it would alter the nature of the grease without removing it. The problem with using a wash to clear the grease is that the skin responds by making more grease.
It wouldn't be a good idea for everyone though. If your skin is already on the dry side this will probably make it worse.
