Odd request for personal info from Aegon

I too received a a letter from Aegon, the first I ignored as I had no dealings with them as a company. The second letter was sent requiring a signature ... this time I took more notice.
I am now a few £****:00s better off. They have taken over a company that I had an endowment with, this had matured some years ago but they lost contact with me as I failed to update my address after a couple of moves.
So I say don't ignore these letters.

I had previously tried the Unclaimed Assets Register .... £25 down the drain, they didn't find the above.

Have a little faith !
