it appears they do not exist

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_rose

Blue roses, often portrayed in literature and art as a symbol of love and prosperity to those who seek it, do not exist within nature, due to genetic limitations being imposed upon natural variance
  • Well, I found somewhere that sells them :-

But they are white ones dyed as suggested by uolypool

Blue Roses just do not exist, commercially speaking that is, however the first blue rose is on it's way as it has been grown by a bunch of mad Australian and Japanese Scientists. The lucky blighters have discovered the holy grail of the rose world!

So, until they are available to order (another 3-7 years we estimate) you will just have to make do with our specially selected white roses that are cut immaturely from the plant and cultivated in blue dye solution so that the blue can grow into the petals as well as the leaves and stems.
  • didnt read that bit !!!!
