Don't worry about it - you weren't to know. TBH, I'd want all the parents to enjoy the day rather than have "chores" to do, but that's just me

Just a quick question - if my best woman is looking after OH's ring, should she have a bag? I guess she could have my lippy too?0 -

Yeah of course, that'll be fine. Treat her like a pack horse (my friends all do with me as i always carry a huge bag) :rotfl:I'm sure a lippy and a ring in a nice little bag will be cool.0 -

i am making a ring cusion using the mats that will go in our centre piece. Its only a cheap polyester thing from avon with a few sequins sewn in but i am going to use the favor ribbon with our names and date on it to hold the rings (obv sewing the ribbon on myself) and if i can learn it quick enough, i will also have our initials embroidered on t it. I am really crap with embroidery though.

The rings will be tied to the cushion with the ribbon and i am hoping to have a page boy to carry the rings for me.

My OH has come up trumps for this - he and his Best Men (2) are going to the venue early to check cake/tables/flowers/table plans.
I have been told just to arrive and get make up done! I have said there will need to be co-ordination for time when I can make a quick check too, so he and BM will go and watch the cricket! We are getting married at The Oval, while there is a cricket game!
I am not having Bridesmaids as they all live afr away, but on the day friend doing make-up, and another friend arriving early for dress checking.Give yourself a Chistmas bonus £14 a week!
Total so far £280 -
Our jeweller gave us a small pouch for the rings on the day, easier than the boxes for the best man. Can lend to you if it helps?
