How to buy British

All well being green, and in the supermarket where labelling is good it's easier to reject apples from South Africa or Chile for the sake of reducing food miles and supporting our home workforce.
Does anyone know of a website, or list or what products are still made in the U.K.?
I know there was a list in a newspaper of the British built cars that were coming top in the reliability stakes- anything similar for fridges, washing machines, clothing ranges etc.?
I know I work for a tyre manufacturer here in Scotland (Michelin Dundee) and would like people to buy our tyres over foreign made ones- to support my job and of course reduce energy wastage on transport costs.
Can anyone help build on the list?
