Used to be about £100 when Clarke branded, and only with a 30mm nail gun, worth every penny.

Has 1/4 BSP thread for attachment of accessories.

Seems rather cheap - would the accompanying compressor be any good for say light spray paint work (ie the odd cabinet etc once in a while)...if so where's a good place to get extra suitable attachments for it?

Argos sell an accessory kit which, I assume, is compatible. Although I haven't used mine yet, it seems similar to others priced £100+. I would expect it to be able to drive other attachments. Also, I don't think Argos would sell an accessory kit if the main tool was not compatible. This is speculation though so check before buying.

Additional tools are available from many places - e.g. machinemart, toolstation, screwfix etc. Just do a Google. I am quite sure this compressor would be suitable for air spraying. I am going to try it with an air imapct wrench which may be more demanding.

For info, Halfords do the same accessory kit as Argos, but they are selling it for £79.99. This is the cheapest I can find anywhere.

Individual tools start at around a tenner - again, Halfords seem to have some good deals on SIP attachments in store. They may actually be selling these off.

Thanks OldNelly. I saw the Clarke compressor, wasn't too sure if it was directly comparable with the Challenge model. 4.5cfm will do for me at this price. I managed to get one from the Letchworth store (last one think). I'm just waiting for my son to bring it up from Letchworth at the weekend so will hopefuly have a 'play' then. I'll probably feel the need to buy loads of tools for it - this bargain might turn into a costly spend.
